SHNU: On November 11th, the Women’s Innovation and Business Starting Forum and Women’s Teachers Subsidy Distribution Ceremony were held at SHNU Xuhui Campus. It was attended by members of SHNU Federation of Women Professors and Society of SHNU Women Teachers, as well as representatives from women teachers and students.
Before the forum, 11 SHNU women teachers received the subsidy. After that, women enterprise representatives and women professor representative shared their career experience and life thoughts.
It is noted that the subsidy is distributed to those young SHNU teacher mothers who have successfully applied for doctor’s degree programs. Over the past 11 years, a total of RMB 160,000 Yuan (USD25,000) have been earmarked to over 300 doctor’s degree candidates. This year, about 28 SHNU women teachers received the fund.
