Daksha Sheth Performs Indian Dances at SHNU Xiafei Theatre

SHNU: On November 10^th, Sheth Dancing Troupe performed traditional Indian dances at SHNU Xiafei Theatre, a newly-established arts center of SHNU. The audiences include the Consul-General of India in Shanghai and his wife, the Cultural Consul of Indian Consulate in Shanghai, Vice President of China Shanghai International Arts Festival, SHNU authorities, and among other teachers and students.

 

On occasion of the 65^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and India, the arts performances act also one of the most important activities of international arts education. The show would be staged three times in SHNU, attracting over 1,500 audiences, even including those residents in neighborhood.

 

The performers brought unique glamor of Indian culture and foreign dancing styles to the audiences with their dazzling Sari (a traditional Indian women’s wear), graceful steps and exquisite acrobatic actions.
