SHNU: During the press conference, SHNU Entomology Research Team affiliated to College of Life and Environmental Sciences announced they have discovered the Hainan Zorotypus, the third kind of Zorotypus species. About 20 media were strongly intrigued for an interview, involving China Youth Online, Xinmin Net, Shanghai TV Station, Renmin Net, Xinlang Net, East Day, Shanghai Education News, China Youth Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Shanghai Morning Post, and Youth Daily, etc.
Just a few days ago, a paper composed by young teacher Yin Ziwei and Professor Li Lizhen from the research team was published in Zootaxa, a well-known animal taxonomy journal, with the title of New and little known species of Zorotypus Silvestri (Zoraptera: Zorotypidae) from China.
