SHNU: On October 2oth, the celebration of Chung Yeung Festival (the Double Ninth Festival, the Day for Elders) was held at Xiangzhangyuan Building on Xuhui Campus. It was attended by SHNU leaders and representatives from the SHNU retired leaders and directors from Shida Community.
SHNU Party Secretary Teng Jianyong extended his greetings to the welfare and longevity of the elders. Each retirees was presented a gift of Longevity Peach signaling health, long life and happiness. A special video was played concerning SHNU leaders celebrating the 99th Birthday of Zhang Bo, the eldest of SHNU retirees. Also, each of them were sent a scarf which was knitted by university student volunteers stich by stich under the directions of teachers from SHNU Women Affairs Office.
