SHNU: On September 28th, Professor Yan Wenpan from University of Massachusetts (UM) was employed as SHNU Special Professor and was conferred the certificate by SHNU Vice President Liu Xiaomin. After that, professor Pan hosted a seminar on SSCI journal writing for students from SHNU College of Education.
Professor Pan is now the tenured professor of UM, Boston, dean of Department of Education Leadership and reviewer of some international education journals. In the seminar, he probed into SSCI journal writing from five perspectives: how to write a good paper, procedures of publishing, common mistakes, and proposals. His meticulous and interesting speaking style left a deep impression on the teachers and the students present in the seminar.
