SHNU: On September 17th, the 2015 Commencement Ceremony of SHNU Postgraduates was held and attended by more than 2,300 new-comers. It was also attended by SHNU leading authorities, college directors, representatives from supervisors, alumni, and senior postgraduates.
SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang extended gracious welcome to the new students and briefed on the development process, education concepts, excellent teachers, teaching facilities, and motivation mechanism, etc. He hoped that the new students could adapt themselves to becoming the talents required by such metropolis as Shanghai.
This year, 2, 370 postgraduates are enrolled, among whom are 128 doctor’s degree candidates, and 41 overseas students. Among the 2,201 master’s degree candidates, 1, 239 students are academics-oriented and 962 are professional degree candidates.
