SHNU: 12 SHNU Programs of Humanities and social sciences were funded by China Ministry of Education, with the number ranking 34th among universities across China and 4th in Shanghai.
The programs concern management, arts, history, economics, laws, journalism and communications, pedagogy and interdisciplinary research. Among them, there are 5 planning foundation programs and 7 are youth foundation ones.
