Sponsored by National Structure Design Contest Committee for University Students Shanghai Branch, SHNU and Beijing Midas Technology Co., ltd, the 5th Shanghai Structure Design Contest and 15th Selection for Structure Design for University Students were held online and on the scene from September 23rd to 25th.
As one of the 9 academic disciplines contest in China, and one of the largest-scale and high-ranking innovation contest in the fields of civil engineering, this contest was reputed as a Dazzling Pearl on the Crown of Civil Engineering. It lasted three days and involved more than 100 candidates from 16 teams of 9 universities.
Themed Chinese Traditional Wood Structure as Stereotype, this contest is characteristic of Chinese ancient architecture cultural heritage. At last, 9 teams from 6 universities were awarded: Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, SHNU, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Shanghai Institute of Technology.
