Sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Government, the first WDCC (World Design Cosmopolitan Conference) was held at Riverside Huangpu District of Shanghai from September 15th to 18th of 2022 in Shanghai and its overseas show was also held in Paris of France. Themed Design Without Boundaries and Fuse to Coexist, the WDCC aims at creating an exchange opportunity for those in fields of design. The Beauty of Twelve Shengxiao (Chinese zodiac signs)----Forces of Jungle, the works from an SHNU teacher’s team led by professor Zhong Hui.
The works was created in times of fighting against COVID-19 and tried to depict the elements of hopes and wishes towards people’s cohesion and better wishes.
The WDCC attracted 2128 works and industrial designs as well as key design events application from 1,416 teams and 18 countries. The new round of Shanghai Design 100+ has become a force of innovation and fashion in forms of over 100,000 online votes and 100 experts’ approval home and abroad.
