On September 16th, the 2nd Tanzania-Shanghai Math Educator Program was held at UNESCO Teacher Education Center and attended by SHNU Vice President Jiang Mingjun who delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
It was also attended by Venance Manori, Vice Director of Primary Education Division of Department of Education and Technology of Tanzania, and representatives from the World Bank, SHNU Division of International Affairs and SHNU International and Comparative Education Research Institute.
The first program activity would focus on the digital reforms of math education and emphasis on technological tools to replace math and improvement in teachers’ technological application abilities. The teachers from Tanzania would be provided assistance in math skills and education quality.
This program aims at promoting Chinese experience and exploring new ways in primary math education.
