On September 13th, the Cooperative Education Agreement was signed between SHNU and Qingpu District Government, which signals a new age of Qingpu education development. It was attended by vice party secretary and Director of Qingpu District Yang Xiaojing, SHNU President Yuan Wen, Vice Party secretary Zhang Quanquan and Vice Director of Qingpu District Zhang Yan.
The Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) is expected to expand new space of cooperation with district government so as to provide strong support to upgrade local education resources and improve education quality of basic education. Further programs would also be explored to develop a win-win situation for both Qingpu District Government and SHNU.
It is stated in the cooperative agreement that three schools would be founded by both sides, including Qingpu Experimental Middle School Affiliated to SHNU, Qingpu Experimental School Affiliated to SHNU and a Kindergarten Affiliated to Shanghai Preschool Education College. Worth mentioning, two scholars of basic education disciplines would be appointed as heads of the two schools.
