Recently, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Government and China Daily, the 2022 Short Video Collection Charity Activities Themed I Celebrate Spring Festival in Shanghai, and Pandemic- Fighting Stories in My Neighborhood. The young candidates are encouraged to recount stories about Shanghai history, arts, medical development and scientific innovation and depict a social image of Z generation (those born between 1981 and 1995) wading through thick and thin.
The SHNU candidates have actively participated in the activity and won 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 3 excellence prizes, with SHNU awarded Outstanding Organization Prize. Among the winners, an SHNU international student from Kazakhstan presented traditional Chinese custom and cuisine culture during Spring Festival in short video clips. Another SHNU candidate described a Shanghai man sharing his food with a neighbour couple with the theme of Ordinary People’s Happiness and the Power from them.
