On the morning of June 25th, the 2025 graduation ceremony of Shanghai International Student Preparatory College was held on Xuhui Campus of SHNU, celebrating that more than 80 pre-college students from 23 countries successfully completed their academic learning.
The graduation ceremony kicked off with a warm-hearted short video. The video condensed the shining footprints of the pre-college study and life at SHNU throughout the year: the students’ attentiveness to Chinese learning classes, the exciting moment of winning the Dragon Boat Race, the diverse performances at the International Cultural Festival, the singing and dancing of the New Year Party, the collective birthday celebrations in the classroom, and the laughter and chatter in the corridor, etc. Each frame is a footnote of youth across cultures.
During the honor recognition session, Xiao Shengxiong, Executive Vice-Dean of Shanghai International Student Pre-College and Director of the International Exchange Office of Shanghai Normal University, announced the list of winners for this year's Outstanding Student, Best Progress Award, Full Attendance Award, Star of Culture and Sports, and Best Class. The award-winning individuals and representatives were commended, encouraging the students to strive ceaselessly and keep moving forward in the future.
The most exciting moment of the graduation ceremony arrives when the leaders and guests present graduation certificates to each graduate.
At the end of the ceremony, Jiang Mingjun, Dean of Shanghai International Student Preparatory College and Vice President of Shanghai Normal University, was quoted as saying that the Preparatory College had trained more than 1,000 preparatory students from more than 30 countries, who have been admitted by more than 20 higher education institutions in the city for degree programs
Shanghai International Student Pre-College was established in July 2012. It is an international student preparatory education base established by the Shanghai Education Commission and entrusted to Shanghai Normal University for management and education.
