On August 25th, the SHNU Academician Work Station and Employment Ceremony of Shi Shengcai (member of Chinese Academy of Sciences) were launched and acted as a milestone of SHNU history of academic development. Mr. Shi is a researcher of Zijinshan Observatory of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Supervisor of doctor’s degree candidates, and outstanding astronomer and leading scientist of MMW (millimeter waves) and submillimeter wave laboratory. The work station would not only promotes the development of SHNU astronomy science, but also the development of Yangtze cooperation and Shanghai scientific and innovation development.
Mr. Shi were conferred the employment certificate by SHNU President Yuan Wen. After the ceremonies, Shi delivered a report on superconducting detection and terahertz astronomy.
