On the morning of June 12th, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of Shanghai Normal University in 2025 were held on the Xuhui campus. The SHN leaders, teacher representatives, and all graduates of the class of 2025 attended a solemn and enthusiastic ceremony. Nearly 140,000 alumni and parents gathered to watch the ceremony, sharing their heartfelt blessings with each other. The Vice SHNU Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice SHNU President Zhu Huijun presided over the ceremony.
The majestic national anthem kicked off the ceremony. The graduation video short film Letter uses letterhead as a medium to connect the beautiful memories of students at the university. At the ceremony, Lin Zaiyong, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the SHNU, announced the decision to commend the Outstanding Graduates of Shanghai and Shanghai Normal University in 2025.
The SHNU President Yuan Wen gave a heartfelt message to all graduates: Graduation is not the end of learning, but a new starting point. The abilities and qualities needed for future career development and life path can only be understood and acquired through real social life.
Five representatives of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral graduates performed a reply to their alma mater in the form of group recitation at the ceremony, leading all graduates to revisit the details of their study and life at Normal University.
More than 250 teacher representatives from 21 colleges attended the ceremony.
