On the morning of June 3rd, Liang Yuming, Vice President of Hanoi University in Vietnam, led a delegation to visit our university. Vice President Jiang Mingjun warmly met with him.
Jiang Mingjun warmly welcomed the visit of Hanoi University on behalf of the school and provided a detailed introduction to the development and characteristics of Shanghai Normal University to the guests. He looks forward to Hanoi University becoming an important partner of our university in Vietnam and even Southeast Asia, and using this visit as an opportunity to further expand the depth and breadth of cooperation between the two universities, especially in areas such as teacher-student exchange and joint training, scientific research cooperation and academic innovation, cultural interaction and mutual learning.
Liang Yuming thanks Shanghai Normal University for its warm reception. He stated that Hanoi University highly values its cooperation with Shanghai Normal University and hopes to promote cooperation with Shanghai Normal University in Southeast Asia. He also looks forward to strengthen ties in joint student training, scientific research, and cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam as soon as possible.
At the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence education, joint education, joint establishment of international research platforms, and joint hosting of international academic conferences.
Hanoi University (HANU) is a public key university in Vietnam that specializes in foreign language teaching and international studies. It was founded in 1959 and enjoys a high reputation in the Vietnamese higher education system. In 2023, our university signed a memorandum of cooperation with Hanoi University.
