On April 1st, the speech series sponsored by SHNU College of Life and Environmental Sciences were held at No. 2 Lecture Hall of Information Center on Fengxian Campus. Xu Zhihong, former president of Beijing University, and Zhong Kang, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered academic speeches for teachers and students.
The two academic tycoons extended a sense of responsibilities to the audiences. After the speeches, the two scholars were invited to join a salon on which they shared their life stories in the process of academic pursuit.
