On March 1st, the 14th Shanghai University Student Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Competition and the Selection Competition for the 2025 China University Student Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Competition were held at Baoshan Campus of Shanghai University. Three participating teams composed of the School of Civil Engineering performed outstandingly in this competition, and won the special prize, first prize, and second prize respectively. Among them, the participating team that won the special prize directly advanced to the national competition with an excellent result of ranking first. This is not only a high recognition of the hard work of the participating team members, but also a manifestation of the achievements of the school that has long attached great importance to practical teaching and actively promoted discipline competitions.
Through the practical drills of enterprise operation simulation, this competition aims to comprehensively enhance the engineering practice ability of college students, cultivate innovative thinking, and enable students to gain an insightful understanding of the complex logic of enterprise operation modes, and be fully prepared for engaging in the forefront of the industry in the future. Students from numerous universities in Shanghai are fully engaged, simulate all aspects of enterprise operation, and fiercely compete in market analysis, product research and development, production planning, and other areas.
By participating in this competition, students have mastered the core skills of enterprise operation through practical drills, cultivated the spirit of teamwork, adaptability and innovation awareness, and improved their employability competitiveness.
