Recently, a delegation of over 100 teachers and students from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University in Thailand arrived at SHNU for a productive exchange visit. The delegation is led by Chaiya Pawabutra, Vice President of the university, Somboo Chaochaikong, former President Watana Suwannatrai, and several doctoral supervisors in education management.
The SHNU Vice President Jiang Mingjun warmly welcomed the visiting teachers and students of the Royal University of Sakhalin in Thailand, and introduced the university development history, educational philosophy, and international characteristics, especially achievements in teacher education, as well as cooperation with universities in Thailand. Chaiya Pawabutra, Vice President and Director of Education Management Master's and Doctoral Programs of SNRU, stated that the purpose of this visit is to learn about the achievements of Shanghai Normal University in teacher education and to learn about the advanced concepts of talent cultivation in this city of Shanghai.
Accompanied by several international student volunteers of SHNU, the faculty and student delegation of SNRU visited the campus library, teaching buildings, and dormitory areas, etc.
