On February 18th, the Opening Ceremony of Lifelong Education Policy Research Center was held at SHNU Foreign Guests’ Building and attended by representatives from (SHNU) Division of Policy and Regulation and Division of Macroscopic Policy of Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, East China Normal University, Shanghai Open University, and SHNU.
SHNU President Yuan Wen was quoted as saying that the new center would, under the guidance of Division of Policy and Regulation of Ministry of Education, attract excellent experts and scholars home and abroad to focus on lifelong education theories, policies and regulations, system innovation and achievement assessment, etc. We have the confidence to make the Centre a high-ranking online and offline platform and a birthplace of high-ranking new think tank and innovation, serving the international lifelong education development.
After the ceremony, the scholars probed academic aspects of lifelong education connotations, lifelong education theories and relevant research as well as lifelong education legislation research.
