Sponsored by Shanghai Experiment Education Direction Committee for Basic Physics, the Session of Shanghai Experiment Education Direction Committee for Basic Physics was held on January 9th online and on the scene. It attracted over 350 experts and scholars from various universities to attend the conference. The participants also included SHNU Vice President Li Ye, and representatives from SHNU Department of Academic Affairs, SHNU College of Mathematics and Engineering.
The scholars centered around Reforms and Resources Development for Physics Lab Education, Exploration on Teaching Modes of Physics Lab and How to Improve Students’ Lab Performances, and Strengthening Physics Teachers’ Education Skills. It is also agreed that the National Physics Lab Contest for University Students and a theme forum on National Physics Competition for University Students would be established.
