February 17th is the first day of the new semester at the school. Early that morning, Lin Zaiyong, the Secretary of the SHNU Party Committee, Yuan Wen, the SHNU President, Chen Heng, Li Ye, the SHNU Vice Presidents, and the heads of relevant functional departments inspected the the Three Teaching Buildings on Fengxian Campus and Xuhui Campus.
The SHNU leaders had friendly talks with teachers and students on the scene. On Xuhui campus, SHNU President Yuan Wen led a delegation to visit teaching classrooms, auditing courses such as sketching at the SHNU College of Fine Arts. The school leaders learned about the teaching progress and methods of the relevant courses, proposed the suggestion of renewing teaching curriculum designs by equipping them with artificial intelligence technology, and emphasized that more consideration should be given to small class teaching, seminar based teaching, and other forms of public curriculum styles.
Also, the SHNU Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate School (Department), and Asset and Laboratory Management Office of SHNU inspected the multimedia equipment in each teaching building before the start of the new semester to ensure that everything went smoothly.
