SHNU： SHNU studentQian Qiyu won 2ndprize at the final of China 5-minute Scientific English Speech Contest for University Students recently.
Sponsored by China English Language Education Association, the Speech Contest aims at promoting university students’abilities to conduct scientificresearchand academic exchanges in English. Altogether 200 candidates entered the quarter-final and 117 of them competed during the final. There are 13 first prize winners and 27 second prize winners at the contest.
