SHNU Professor Employed as New Librarian of Shanghai Research Museum

    The conferring ceremony of Shanghai Cultural and Historical Research Museum for new librarians was held on December 30th. Altogether 30 new librarians were conferred the certificates, and SHNU professor Su Zhiliang was one of them.

    Engaged in SHNU education for as long as 36 years, Professor Su is a renowned scholar of historical studies and stood out with marvellous achievements in Chinese contemporary history, Shanghai city history, CPC history, social history and sino-Japanese relations. He enjoys special subsidies from the State Council and is the director of Chinese comfort women issues.

    Founded in June, 1953, the Shanghai Cultural and Historical Research Museum employs about 1, 260 experts and scholars of resounding reputations in the fields of history and culture, calligraphy, painting, drama, TCM, arts performances, publishing and laws, etc.
