Sponsored by SHNU Municipal Education Commission, a series of new education infrastructure programs have been initiated on December 28th, including SHNU Xuhui Campus expansion program.
It was also attended by directors from Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Urban Planning and Resources Bureau and SHNU authorities.
According to the approved plan, the overall architecture area of SHNU Xuhui Campus would cover as much as 45, 799 square meters (500,000 square feet), including 35, 077 square meters of superterranean area and 10, 722 square meters of subterranean area. Supposed to end in December, 2024, the projects include revamping the students’ dormitories, science lab buildings and underground garages.
