The 2024 Shanghai Mental Health Education Teaching Exhibition and the 12th Mobile Micro Course Competition for Universities, guided by the Moral Education Department of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and hosted by the Shanghai Students’ Mental Health Education Development Center, and organized by East China University of Political Science and Laws, successfully concluded in Shanghai. After the preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, a total of 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 6 winning prizes were awarded and SHNU successfully defended its title of Champion, with the winner candidate Tang Yuxin from the Psychological Counseling and Development Center. This is the fourth time SHNU has won the first prize since the first Shanghai Mental Health Curriculum Competition in 2010, and the twelfth time that the university prized with the Excellent Organization Award.
The SHNU Psychological Center actively responded and carefully organized the preliminary competition on campus, with 20 teachers from 18 colleges participating in the preliminary competition.
During the final, expert judges from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai Student Mental Health Education Development Center, peer judges from different university psychological centers, and student representatives from 15 schools jointly participated in the selection process. In the competition, Teacher Tang Yuxin's lecture Quick Read and Negligent Reply: Psychological Boundary Defense Battle received unanimous praise from experts, peers, and students on site for her clever course design, professional and concise content, rich on-site experience, exciting teacher-student interaction, and lively and friendly teaching styles.
