The 10th China Career Development Forum Held at SHNU

On November 23rd, the 10th China Career Development Forum and the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Career Development and Management Professional Committee of the Labor Economics Society, hosted by the Professional Committee of the Labor Economics Society and organized by the School of Psychology of Shanghai Normal University (SHNU), were held. Themed Career and Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Construction, Remodeling and Education, this forum attracted more than 260 experts, scholars and front-line practitioners from more than 120 colleges and universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Wuhan University, and                                                                    more than 10 primary and secondary schools, and more than 20 career consulting and education practice institutions.

The presentation invited several authoritative experts and scholars from China to conduct high-quality academic exchanges from theoretical research to practical application. The forum also specially arranged a face-to-face session for magazines, inviting journals such as Education Development Research, Journal of Suzhou University, and Chinese College Student Employment to communicate and exchange ideas with the attendees, providing the most cutting-edge consultation for career development and education frontline workers to understand the writing and publication of academic papers and work reports in the field of career development.

The forum involves nearly 60 researchers and practitioners from career education practice and consulting institutions across the country. The topics of the presentations covered multiple fields such as career education, employment exploration, theoretical innovation, and career development.

This forum not only deepens the cutting-edge exploration of career theory in the era of artificial intelligence, but also strengthens the deep cooperation between academia and practice, and builds a diverse platform for communication.
