On November 22nd and 23rd, the Second National 'Joyful Reading of China' International Student Storytelling Invitational Competition was successfully held at the International Teacher Education Center of our university, hosted by SHNU Shanghai Teacher Education College (Teaching and Research Office of Shanghai Education Commission), and organized by the National Language and Writing Promotion Base (SHNU) and the SHNU International College of Chinese Studies.
This competition is open to universities across the country. After online evaluation and selection in the preliminary stage, 107 international students from 39 countries and 42 universities were finally qualified to participate in this competition.
The competition process was thrilling and unparalleled, with contestants showcasing their excellent Chinese language expression skills and profound understanding of Chinese culture through vivid stories, innovative forms, and sincere emotions. It aims to further enhance the Chinese language proficiency and expressiveness of international students, promote the international exchange and disseminate traditional Chinese culture. It has become a powerful path for international student talent cultivation, exchange and discussion, opening up new avenues for the innovative development of international Chinese education in the future.
