The 17th National College Student Innovation Conference, guided by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and hosted by Sichuan University, was held at the Sichuan University from November 8th to 10th. The SHNU National Innovation Project Intelligent Identification of Wood Structure Node Damage Based on X-ray Digital Imaging Method was selected for the annual meeting and participated in the exchange and exhibition of reform achievements projects.
The National College Students' Innovation Annual Conference is an important annual exhibition and exchange activity initiated by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the Expert Working Group of the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program. It is one of the most extensive, influential, student participated, and high-level events in the undergraduate teaching reform of universities in China. The theme of this year's annual conference is Embracing the Future with Wisdom, with offline activities as the main focus, supplemented by cloud displays, online interactions, and other channels. It mainly includes three traditional theme activities: innovation and entrepreneurship project reform achievements display, innovation academic paper exchange, and entrepreneurship promotion project exchange.
The SHNU School of Architecture and Civil Engineering has cultivated 30 projects at or above the municipal level and 6 outstanding completed projects.
