Sponsored by UNESCO Education Center and China-ASEAN Center, a forum on How to Explore the Abilities of Teachers Working in Rural Area was held in Shanghai. Experience was shared among different nations concerning the development of establishing professional teachers of countryside education and expectations were aimed at promoting cooperation and improving quality of rural education.
The forum was held both online and on the scene at SHNU Conference Center. It was attended by China Ministry of Education, China National Committee of UNESCO, and counsellor from education fields as well as scholars on teacher education. Chen Qun, Vice Shanghai Mayor participated in the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.
Experience and measures of establishing teams of countryside teachers and strengthening international cooperation, superior designs were discussed, along with specific strategies of cultivating teachers’capacities of dealing with information technology.
