On October 13th, the Signing Ceremony for the Donation of the Hainiu Resources Outstanding Contribution Award for Teachers and the Outstanding Academic Award for Students was held in Conference Room 108 of the SHNU School of Business. The SHNU President Yuan Wen, Chief Accountant Cao Guangming, Chairman of Hai Niu Metal Resources (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and the donor alumnus from SHNU School of Business Lv Yichun attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Ningbo Haishi Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership) donated RMB 1,000,000 Yuan to promote the better development of the business school education, and established the Teacher Outstanding Contribution Award and Student Excellent Academic Award for outstanding teachers and students with contributions in teaching, scientific research, and talent cultivation.
Yuan Wen, on behalf of SHNU, expressed sincere gratitude to alumni Lv Yichun for donating the Awards. She was quoted as saying that the award-winning teachers, students, and more alumni can learn from alumnus Lv Yichun, pursue excellence, learn to be brave in assuming responsibilities, and strive to practice the business school's motto of Honor Comes from Responsibility.
Lv Yichun stated in his speech that this donation marked his gratitude to the alma mater and the teachers. Also, he hoped to better motivate students to study diligently and work hard, so that they can give back to society in the future.
The SHNU School of Business will take advantage of this donation to fund the support of the improvement of teaching and research quality, as well as the development of SHNU students.
