Zhao Baoguo, Professor from SHNU College of Chemistry and Material Sciences, had a crucial breakthrough in asymmetric biomimetic transamination of α-Keto amides to peptides and had his results published at Nature Communications on August 30th. The paper was published with two co-authors. One is Cai Weiqi, a doctor’s degree candidate; the other Jiao Xuelong, a master’s degree candidate. Professor Zhao Baoguo is the corresponding author of the paper.
The research from the professor’s team has been authorized by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Education Committee, Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Municipality, and Shanghai Green Energy Engineering Technology Research Center.
