The Founding Ceremony of SHNU College of Environment and Geographic Sciences was held at SHNU No. 2 Conference Center and attended by SHNU Party Secretary Teng Jianyong and SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang.
The Dean of the newly-founded college discussed the development history, goals and key fields of the college and hoped that the staffs could work together to build a top-ranking college of resources and environment.
Also, GaWC, Vice Director of Global Urban Network Research Center, Ben Deriudder, Special Professor of SHNU, and Professor of Ghent University, Belgium, were invited to attend the ceremony.
