Recently, two SHNU research programs have been released in the List of First Research and Reforms on Liberal Arts Disciplines published by China Ministry of Education, which are Innovation and Practices on Development of Advanced Talents of Chinese Language Discipline and International Top Teacher Education Systems Development of Modern Age respectively.
In addition, four SHNU research programs on liberal arts reforms and practices have been approved as the municipal projects.
Ever since the Project of New Liberal Arts Research and Reform Practice was launched by Ministry of Education, SHNU has been fully aware of the urgency and significance of the innovative development in liberal arts education. The university has promoted the construction of new liberal arts, focusing on new majors, new models, new connotations and new forms. SHNU, based on morality education, will take the opportunity offered by the authorized projects, facilitate the interdisciplinary research, accelerate the innovation in liberal arts education and establish the talents training system with SHNU feature.
