On July 3rd, Shanghai International Student Preparatory College welcomed the grand moment of the 2024 graduation ceremony. This ceremony brought together 92 international students from around the world, representatives from recommended universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai University, and Donghua University, as well as leaders and teachers from preparatory colleges, to witness this moment together. Jiang Mingjun, Dean of Shanghai International Student Preparatory College and Vice President of Shanghai Normal University (SHNU), attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
The ceremony was co-hosted by Ye Kexin, a Russian national, and Yiredui, a Mongolian national. They opened the ceremony with fluent Chinese and enthusiastic smiles. Next, the students brought a wonderful presentation performance, such as violin solo, Chinese martial arts, guitar playing and singing, and also expressed gratitude to the preparatory college and teachers.
Jiang Mingjun, Dean of Shanghai International Student Preparatory College and Vice President of Shanghai Normal University, delivered a speech. He warmly congratulates the students who have successfully completed their studies and encourages them to maintain a high enthusiasm for learning in the upcoming undergraduate stage, and adhere to their dreams and beliefs. At the same time, Jiang Mingjun expressed gratitude to all the teachers who have worked hard for the preparatory college.
Established by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai International Student Preparatory College (referred to as Preparatory College) was established in July 2012, with its first enrollment in that September.
