On March 23rd, Shen Yubing, specially employed professor from Fudan University, and Director from Arts and Philosophical Research Center, was invited to deliver a speech on Guangqi Arts and Humanities Forum.
As one of the most well-known scholar of modern arts history, Professor Shen briefed on the situations of Cezanne research in 1960s, stated his analyses of Cezanne’s works in terms of forms analysis, spiritual analysis and phenomenology.
Professor Shen also probed on T. J. Clark, another unavoidable scholar of Cezanne’s arts. He overwhelmed the audiences with his recondite knowledge and outstanding academic insights. The seminar wound up in thunderous applause.
