On March 9th, the Consulting Conference of Yangtze Delta Wetland Ecological System of National Wildlife Science Observatory was held at SHNU and attended by academicians from China Academy of Science, Fudan University, SHNU, Beijing Normal University, and East China Normal University, etc. Over 30 participants attended the conference and was also live online.
SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang was quoted as saying that the Yangtze Delta Wetland was another new arena of environment and geographic science research led by SHNU academician Chen Guodong. Zhu hoped that more cooperative research results could be published through this platform and expressed his welcome for visitors to this observatory.
The development plan was probed and reports were delivered for the period between 2021 and 2025 in terms of the operation of this observatory.
