On March 5th, a cooperative agreement among SHNU, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and Jiading District Government of Shanghai was signed to establish a branch school of Shanghai Experimental School. The ceremony was attended by Vice Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, SHNU Party Secretary, SHNU President and representatives from Jiading District Government.
According to the cooperative education agreement, the newly-built middle school attached to Shanghai Experimental School (also sponsored by SHNU) would start a nine-year education system covering primary school and junior middle school education. There will be six classes for each grade and more cooperation would be carried out in terms of scientific research, teacher training, students’ development, international exchanges and information sharing.
The new school aims at promoting the preliminary education development of Jiading New District which would be targeted as the pioneer of Shanghai New Development Regions.
