The final of 12th Siemens Cup CIMC (China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge) drew to a close at Beijing University of Chemical Engineering on August 29th. It involved 1,255 candidates from 141 universities across China to compete. The two SHNU teams made up of 3 students respectively won the second prize at the competition for their creative work on upper-limb rehabilitation robots and four-wheel drive and steering intelligent vehicles.
Sponsored by China Ministry of Education and Siemens Corporation, the CIMC awards scientific innovations, product development, project design and intelligent applications in the field of intelligent manufacturing. It has become one of the largest and top-ranking contest of Chinese intelligent manufacturing domain.
