39 SHNU students were sent to ?xml:namespace>University of Canberra, Australia and GriffithUniversity for a two-week long academic tour on July 23rd and 28th. Among them, 24 postgraduates from 11 SHNU colleges attended the Canberra program, and the rest students from 6 colleges were involved in the Griffith program.
In the Canberra program, students were arranged to listen to 8 lectures on Australian education systems and audit academic courses to experience vivid university classrooms of Australia. The SHNU students also visited four schools of Canberra: a kindergarten, a primary school, a junior high school and a senior high school.
In the Griffith program, students learned more about tourism planning and cross-cultural management to perceive more about Australian tourism culture. The SHNU students thus could gain access to international linguistic classroom and share their pleasure of academic learning.
