On January 18th, the Founding Ceremony of Shanghai Preschool Education College was held at SHNU Conference Center and attended by Vice Shanghai Mayor Chen Qun, Vice Secretary General of Shanghai Municipal Government Yu Liyuan, and representatives from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and Shanghai Education Association and Shanghai Normal University (SHNU).
Good wishes were sent from the speeches delivered by Shanghai government leaders, and certificates were conferred to those serving as counselors and directors.
It is expected that Shanghai Preschool Education College could promote the education modernization of Shanghai on the backdrop of insufficient number of high-quality, specialized and innovative preschool teachers.
Also, the newly-founded college would pave more ways for pre-career and post-career service and the potential support for teachers to enjoy a lifelong learning journey of professional development.
