The Shanghai Cheer-leading Championship was held at East China Normal University on December 30th. From 25 schools in the city, 521 athletes gathered together to compete for the highest honour of aerobics and cheerleading. In the competition, 28 SHNU cheer-leading players stood out with excellent performance, winning the second place for Group Street Dance (free routines, Group A), second place for Bodybuilding Dance Level 5 (Free-standing, Set Routines, Group A), fourth place for bodybuilding dance Level 6 (Free-standing, Set Routines, Group B), as well as the Best Trainer Prize.
The SHNU athletes scored their spotlight success with their outstanding expertise and rapport. They trained hard after school and on weekends. Their devotion to and enthusiasm for aerobics and cheerleading, superior strength and tacit team cooperation have made them brilliant moment in the arena. The competition not only showed the excellent competitive level and excellent sports character of the players, but also fully demonstrated the spirit of tenacious struggle and unity of the students of Normal University.
