On December 13thand 14th, the International Students Higher Education Quality Reassessment was conducted and Shanghai Normal University has been approved of such qualifications. SHNU Party Secretary Lin Zaiyong and SHNU President Yuan Wen, together with representatives from China Education Association for International Exchange attended the welcome meeting for the expert group and the feedback meeting for the certification. .
President Yuan expressed their gratitude and respect to the leaders of the Exchange Association and the experts of the certification team for their hard work during their stay at the campus. She also made arrangements and explanations for the implementing the opinions and suggestions put forward by the expert group. She believed that SHNU would take the opportunity to promote its education reforms while strengthening its capacity to transmit cultures and establish a sound reputation for Shanghai Normal University in the international community.
Besides, (the) Shanghai Normal University is expected to establish a higher-quality education system, enhancing its impact and appeals to young students worldwide, and achieving optimal development of overseas students education in China.
Since the approval of higher education quality assessment in 2017, Shanghai Normal University has become the first batch of universities that won such honors with an initial lasting period of four years. Since early last year, SHNU has applied for reassessment and succeeded in the approval stage a second time.
