The 2023 Shanghai Tennis Championship for University Students were held at Shanghai University last week and SHNU team broke a historical record in its history by winning Team Champion and Double Champion for Men’s Group.
The SHNU Tennis Team beat those of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai University of Electric Power to survive the preliminary and enter the top 8 knockout round. During the final, Shanghai Normal University Team unrivalled the host team of Shanghai University to become the champion of the whole games.
Besides, the SHNU team won another men’s double at the Shanghai Tennis Games for University Students.
The SHNU tennis team members’ resilience and tenacity for the best encouraged them to give full rein to their athletic competence and particularly, the honour and respect which they have strived to win for themselves.
