The 1st Overseas Education Site of SHNU International Students’ Pre-college was officially launched at Morocco on November 28th. The SHNU Vice President Jiang Mingjun unveiled the nameplate for the ceremony.
Jiang expressed his thanks to all the efforts and support from a local high school in Morocco and stated that the successful establishment of this education site signals the strong interests of high school students in Casablanca area for Chinese language learning, as well as their enthusiastic expectations towards studying in China and particularly in Shanghai. Rida Damiri, president of a Morocco high school, hoped that they would try all means to develop this newly-built education site into an exemplary Chinese language education school in Morocco.
Both sides discussed about the operation, education management and curricular planning of the SHNU International Pre-college School. Besides, the SHNU delegation visited the campus and exchanged with local students in Morocco.
This construction of this new overseas education school marks another new development stage of SHNU International Students’ Pre-college.
After that, the SHNU team visited the Education School and Confucius Institute of Kenyatta University in Kenya and probed on more chances of education cooperative programs in terms of teachers exchange, students cooperation and international academic exchanges before a cooperative memorandum was signed.
The SHNU visitors also were shown around the Education School and Confucius Institute of Kenyatta University, and explored more about teacher training, students’ exchange in summer and scientific and research cooperation.
