From October to November, more than 200 freshmen of SHNU were organized to visit the five new suburban towns, Jiading, Lingang, Qingpu, Songjiang and Fengxian, to explore the new changes in basic education while experiencing the glamour of Shanghai urban development.
During the trip, the SHNU visitors also arrived at Jiading Middle School Attached to SHNU, Lingang Middle School Attached to SHNU, Songjiang Future Experimental School Attached to SHNU, No. 4 Middle School attached to SHNU and Qingpu Xiehe Bilingual School. They walked into the modern campuses and experience the cutting-edged technology in these schools. Also, they visited the library, urban planning museum, Guangfulin Cultural Heritage and Qingxi Old Street.
This visit marks another initiative of SHNU to help students broaden the vision, and establish a platform enriching their knowledge.
