Chen Yiwang, Vice Party Secretary of Gannan Normal University (GNU) and President of GNU, visited SHNU to explore more opportunities to promote teachers’ education and interscholastic exchanges in disciplines construction on November 10th. SHNU Party Secretary Lin Zaiyong and SHNU Vice President Li Ye, on behalf of SHNU staff, extended warm welcome to the visitors and held friendly talks with them. Representatives from various departments of both SHNU and GNU, including Deans and Directors from School of Marxism Studies, Division of Postgraduates’ Affairs, School of Education, and College of Materials and Sciences, etc. all participated in the meeting.
Lin was quoted as saying that there had been four mutual visits between SHNU and GNU and a series of cooperative initiatives were reached in disciplines development, academic construction, teamwork cooperation, temporary training at other job positions and doctoral degree candidates cultivation. Chen also expressed his hopes for more mutual cooperation and development.
