On November 4th, the Donation Ceremony of Multi-source High-precision Remote Sensing Image Data was held in Minhang District of Shanghai. It was attended by SHNU Vice President Zhang Zhengrong, and representatives from SHNU School of Environmental and Geographical Sciences. The universities that accept donations also include Wuhan University, Tongji University, East China Normal University and Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
These data would aim at increasingly sharing remote-sensing data, supporting technological innovation and exploring more merging opportunities of remote-sensing information, all of which would be more effective in promoting the SHNU researchers’ academic understandings of Yangtze River Delta.
Currently, SHNU has collaborated with Shanghai Surveying and Mapping Institute for more cooperation in establishing greener and more resilient cities.
