The first Industrial Analysis Contest for University Students was held on Xuhui Campus on October 27th , sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Students’ Affairs, and SHNU. Since this September, 233 people from 14 pre-college teams and 48 postgraduate and bachelor’s degree teams registered for the contest. After rounds of assessment, 6 pre-college teams and 12 postgraduate and bachelor’s degree teams entered the final.
The games take forms of Q&A report in heated atmosphere and frequent interactions. Also, debates were designed by PPT presentations. Experts’ questions were raised about industrial analyses and market positions, and candidates’ abilities of logical thinking and spontaneous responses were tested.
The contest aims at promoting students’ opportunities of successful, sufficient and high-quality employment and bridging the gap between demands of students and job markets.
