SHNU： On May 14th, the 2018 Chinese Culture Journey Program was officially kicked off and would last half a month. This program of Confucius Institute (CI) of University of Botswana (UB) includes 7 primary schools and middle schools in its journey, including Gaborone, Francistown and Maun.
The first stop was set at Gaborone and a series of activities were held at three schools of Botswana: Kelemogile Junior Secondary School, Pillip Moshotle Primary School, and Mmanoko Primary School. After the welcome ceremony, the teachers and students of CI of UB staged dazzling arts performances: dances, Taiji, songs solos and fashion shows, etc. After that, cultural experience courses followed: learning Chinese songs, traditional folk dances, calligraphy, paper clipping, martial arts, Chinese movies show and Chinese language open classes, etc.
